Corey Mehl’s passion for Hockey spans 14 years. Over the years Corey moved from street hockey to competitive roller hockey and eventually onto Ice Hockey. His ability to adapt and perform made him an asset from the very beginning. Corey participated in multiple national Roller Hockey competitions such as NARCH, USA Inline and AIRHS championship series where his team meddled consistently. In high school Corey played Bantam AA for the Kansas City Scouts before playing Junior Varsity for the Kansas City Jr. Blades in the Iowa High School Hockey League. Corey was the JV captain for the Lee’s Summit Metro Storm Ice Hockey team and participated in State Wars Roller Championship in 2006 leading Team Missouri to a silver medal. In 2007-2008 he played Division 2 American College Hockey Association for the University of Kansas.
On the Ice he is known for his play making ability, vision, and scoring touch.Corey’s high hockey IQ and sound positioning gives him an advantage on the ice. He prides himself on his strength as a play maker to create opportunities every time he’s on the attack. Corey uplifts and motivates fellow players with his leadership experience and positive attitude. His passion for the game is unbridled.

Corey recently organized and managed a successful Adult hockey team is entering its 2nd year in the top division at Independence Events Center in Missouri. His ability to bring skaters together each session and manage a team at only 22 years old makes him valuable to any organization as an officer or captain. He also has work experience in Game Day Operations for KC Brigade AFL and as a Guest Service agent for Marriott Hotels and Resorts.
